At Play to Progress, our mission is to bring natural, joyful learning experiences into the homes of families in central Iowa, empowering children with Autism to develop essential skills. Grounded in neuroaffirming principles, professionalism, and unwavering support, we are committed to delivering high-quality in-home and community-based ABA therapy, fostering growth and progress through play.
Virtual services are available for those outside of Central Iowa.
What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding and supporting behavior change to improve meaningful skills. We recognize and respect the unique strengths and differences of each individual, tailoring our methods to their specific needs and learning styles. A key component of our approach is Natural Environment Teaching (NET), which embeds learning into play and everyday activities, making it fun and relevant. By using positive reinforcement and building upon existing abilities within natural contexts, we equip individuals to develop valuable skills and celebrate their neurodiversity.
